Policies & F.A.Q.
Ordering Policies
- We reserve the right to refuse any order.
- In instances of oversell, we will honor the orders in the order in which they were received, and will promptly refund those orders which can not be fulfilled.
- Gift certificates are non-refundable, sorry.
- We reserve the right to change an items listing at any time, if errors in the listing were made, we will promptly notify purchaser and permit the sale to be canceled and/or re-listed, if necessary.
- Customers who fail to pay will be black-listed from future Hibiscus Baby purchases and may be added to the "Bad Hyenas" database. If you accidentally purchase an item, promptly notify us at hibiscusbaby@gmail.com.
Shipping
- In stock items will whip within 1-3 business days.
- ONLY the address provided in the paypal payment will be used. If you need an item shipped to an alternate address, you MUST provide that address at the time of purchase in the paypal payment.
- Priority Mail shipping is required for all purchases, unless otherwise stated
- Shipping is done via USPS. Shipping via other methods may be allowed by special request. Please notify us at hibiscusbaby@gmail.com BEFORE purchase is made to arrange for special shipping needs.
- Insurance is included in the price of all No Tie Mei Tais™, but is optional and recommended for all other items.
- Please purchase insurance for your items, as we will not be held responsible for items which become damaged or lost in the mail.
- Delivery confirmation is included on all orders.
- If an item is lost in the mail, and insurance was purchased, please contact us to begin an insurance claim. We will refund the order once the insurance claim has been resolved with the shipping partner.
- Hibiscus Baby will wait at least 3 weeks before beginning a claim with the shipping partner for lost or stolen items.
- If the "lost" item is delivered after a claim is filed, the purchaser agrees to notify Hibiscus Baby immediately. If the item has been replaced, the purchaser may be required to send one of the items back. If the replacement item has not yet been received, purchaser agrees to refuse the package, unopened, so that it may be returned.
- Hibiscus Baby can not be held responsible for lost items if the item shows delivered by the shipping partner. Please contact the shipping partner directly to file a claim.
- If a package is returned as undeliverable, and the correct address was used (as determined by the Paypal address), Hibiscus Baby will not re-ship until payment for a new shipment with the corrected address has been received.
Refunds & Returns
- Return of in-stock items may be made within 10 days of receipt for a full refund minus a 10% re-stocking fee. Please contact hibiscusbaby@gmail.com for return authorization before returning. Delivery confirmation MUST be purchased on all returned items. Hibiscus Baby CAN NOT be held responsible for items lost in the mail if delivery confirmation was not purchased.
- Unless the item is defective, damaged or not as described in the product listing, the purchaser is responsible for all return shipping charges.
- Sorry, only items which have NOT been used may be returned for refund.
- Store credit MAY be authorized for used items. Please contact us for details.
Custom Orders
- Custom orders will be available as "custom slots" listed occasionally through the store. A NON-REFUNDABLE 10% deposit is required to secure a custom slot.
- Payment in full must be made before custom work can begin.
- Due to the nature of custom work, custom items may take up to 6 weeks to be complete. If, for some reason, more time is needed, you will be contacted immediately, and a new time frame will then be given, with the option to then cancel the order for a full refund.
- Sorry, NO refunds allowed on custom items unless the item fails to meet the specifications (size, color, style) as detailed before work was commissioned.
- If the item is defective in some way, item may be returned for repair. If the item is not repairable, then store credit will be issued. Please contact us at hibiscusbaby@gmail.com for return authorization first. You MUST purchase delivery confirmation on your return shipment. Hibiscus Baby will reimburse all return shipping charges (amount equivalent to first class USPS with delivery confirmation fees) once the item has been received and the defect has been confirmed
Payments
- Currently payment is accepted via Paypal ONLY. If you would like to make an alternate payment, please contact us for authorization FIRST before you make your purchase.
- Again, ONLY addresses provided in the paypal payment will be used.
- If paying via an e-check through paypal, the item will ship once the payment clears. If payment fails to clear, purchaser will be contacted and item will be re-listed.
- Sorry, no personal checks accepted.
Lotteries / Auctions
- Winners of Lotteries or Auctions must contact us within 2 business days to provide payment and delivery information.
- If the winner can not be contacted within 2-3 business days, the item will be re-listed.
Privacy
- Hibiscus Baby respects the privacy of its customers. IN NO circumstance will customer information ever be sold or used in an unauthorized fashion.
- If you wish to be removed from our newsletter, you may e-mail us at hibiscusbaby@gmail.com to make your request.
Definitions: We, I, us and our refers to Hibiscus Baby. You and your refers to the purchaser/consumer.
